Makar Sankranti festival
Hundreds of devotees asked for vow on Makar Sankranti festival was celebrated with pomp in Ghantakarna Dham temple. Hundreds of devotees reached the Ghantakarna temple located in Kweli Danda of Narendranagar block, participated in the puja archana havanyagya program on Makar Sankranti festival and celebrated Makar Sankranti festival with pomp, took the blessings of the deity Ghantakarna.
Hundreds of devotees prayed to the deity on Makar Sankranti, the famous festival of Uttarakhand, at Ghandial Danda Quili Ghantakarna Temple. Ghantakarna deity incarnated on his cattle Kulbir Singh Sajwan and Deepak Vijlwan. After worshiping in the temple, Havanyagya took blessings with the praise of the deity.
Let us tell you that there is a famous temple of Ghantakarna deity in Kweli Danda on a steep climb about 4 kilometers from Gaja, where worship, Havanyagya and Bhandara are organized on the Sankranti of every month. Although there is an influx of devotees, but worship is specially done on Sankranti festival.
On this occasion, Darshan Lal Vijlwan, the priest of the temple, offered prayers to all the people. Vijay Prakash Bijlwan, Pasha Kulbir Singh Sajwan, Deepak Bijlwan, and Dr. Jagmohan Singh Sajwan, Ashok Vijlwan, Man Singh Chauhan, Dinesh Prasad Uniyal, in the program organized in the temple.
Hundreds of people including Dinesh Semalti, Bhaskar Vijlwan, Jasbir Singh Sajwan, Arvind Vijlwan, Madan Mohan Bijlwan were present. A resolution was taken by the Ghantakarna Dham Trust officials for the construction work of Gaushala and Man Singh Chauhan and Dinesh Prasad Uniyal were authorized to open the account.
